Zig Zag Necklace

This necklace is a commission for a family member

Auntie Bev necklace

This necklace is a commision for a family member. She wanted something to go with a brilliantly coloured skirt and a lemon yellow sweater. The facets are new in to my bead shop -- 'avocado'. I just love them.

A treat for Denise

This necklace was really cool to make -- the pendant was supposed to be a ring (but I didn't like it) and the "chain" is a wire lace material which is tubular, the beads in the chain are literally inside it. Denise has seen it, so now you guys can too... if you like.

Class necklace

I made this neclakce in a beading class and it is a little too long for me. I hope my mother likes it... I love it, but I can't wear it.

Experiment

I saw a necklace sort of like this on Boston Legal, and I decided to have a go

Claudia's shell necklace

Claudia caome to visit, and she brought some shells she had collected when she visited my Grandmother up north... She dropper her favourite one (and we discovered that the pieces shatter when you try to drill holes in them), but we managed to make a necklace out of them anyway:

Rach's bracelet

A claspless bracelet... and a bit of an experiment, done as a birthday present

A window hanging for Neelam

Neelam moved away at the beginning of the year, but I wanted there to be something to remind her she always has friends, so I made her this to hang in her window:

A bracelet for Annelies

A necklace for Janaya

Janaya, my cousin, has had some sea changes in her life recently, and this necklace (even though I don't really believe in the power of stones, has stines in it that represent things that may help her. Carnelian (the red stone) is for courage; amazonite (the green one) is for hope, guadance and enligtenment; citrine, the yellow stone is for creativity, wisdom, mental health, creativity and prosperity and intellect, and hematite is for mental and physical health and tranquility.

A larait for Annette

A lariat (besides being one of the names for a piece of rope used to catch a cow) is ia necklace that doesn't fasten in any traditional sense of the word. This particular one has loops all the way along that the pendant ends of the neclace can be hooked through.
